Konecranes will highlight the safety and productivity features of their Ergonomic Workstation Cranes at booth #6316.

Konecranes will feature its ergonomic workstation cranes at CMTS, the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show, to be held September 30 through October 3, 2013 at The International Centre in Mississauga, ON. Konecranes’ workstation lifting systems (WLS) have been designed to improve ergonomics and productivity and feature a variety of efficiency-boosting elements to suit your material lifting needs. They are also available with the latest Konecranes lifting devices, which include the CLX electric chain hoist, the ATB AirBalancer, and the ATL Vertical Column Lifter.

The CLX is the next-generation electric chain hoist from Konecranes. Its range of productivity, safety and maintenance improvements include an available speed ratio of 6:1, standard, maintenance-free transmission, brake and features a new load- limiting slip clutch which protects workers and equipment from dangerous overloads. A robust modern aluminium exterior withstands demanding industrial environments.

A unique lifting technology, ATB AirBalancer from Konecranes uses a floating load unit and pneumatic control technology to almost weightlessly move loads of up to 350 kg. Engineered to enhance safety and efficiency, the ATB AirBalancer is ideal for applications where high-speed load transfer and precise assembly work are required. Designed to reduce the risk of accidental load damage, improve cycle times, ergonomics, and provide a cleaner, quieter work environment, the ATB AirBalancer offers uninterrupted three-dimensional movement with no jerky motions while lifting and lowering. Load weight compensation and an over-speed brake are standard features

Examples of the ergonomic workstation cranes and equipment, including the CLX, and ATB AirBalancer, will be on display at booth #6316. Konecranes engineers will also be on hand to discuss the specifics of how these innovative products could be used in your application.
