Teuvo Salminen joins 3 Step IT’s Board
The appointment strengthens the Board's competence in the internationalisation of services.
Teuvo Salminen (M.Sc. (Econ.), Authorized Public Accountant) has been appointed as a member of the 3 Step IT Board of Directors. In addition to his special expertise in financial administration, Salminen brings to the Board his extensive experience in the internationalisation of services.
“3 Step IT’s Board has a very open and interactive atmosphere, which leaves plenty of room for differing opinions,” says Jarkko Veijalainen, Chairman of the Board. Last year, Talouselämä magazine ranked 3 Step IT as the most profitably growing company among IT companies. The most important mission of the Board is to support 3 Step IT’s growth objective to reach EUR 1 billion turnover in 2015.
At the moment, Salminen is a member of the board in eight companies, four of which are listed companies. Salminen was a member of Pöyry PLC’s executive management between 1985 and 2009, when the company expanded strongly internationally. Between 1999 and 2009, Salminen worked as Pöyry PLC’s Deputy to President and CEO.
“I became interested in 3 Step IT because the company is just about to face interesting challenges related to internationalisation. 3 Step IT has a good reputation and its growth has been managed well, so the decision to join the Board was an easy one,” says Teuvo Salminen.
