Double shortlist success for Access Group in the FDs’ Excellence Awards

Colchester, UK – 10 April 2013 – Access Group has been shortlisted in the FDs’ Excellence Awards, held in association with the ICAEW, and supported by the CBI. The Stratford St Mary based business software provider is nominated in two categories: Financial Software Provider: SMEs and Financial Software Provider: Large Firms.

The nominations for these awards are based on the results of a survey of more than 1,300 chief financial officers, financial directors and senior financial decision makers from British businesses.

The software house has been extending its finance solutions in recent months with the introduction of its aCloud Insight Finance console, providing collaborative business intelligence on the move from any device.  The out-of-the-box console for finance professionals allows instant access to key daily KPIs, with instant messaging tools to enable discussion on the figures in real-time.

The winners of the awards will be announced at a black tie dinner on Thursday 9 May 2013 in London. The event will be hosted by ICAEW chief executive Michael Izza and the CBI's director-general, John Cridland, with the awards' being compered by comedian Fred MacAulay.
