RCM Products invest in Access Group’s advanced planning and scheduling solution into manufacturing operations

RCM Products, manufacturer of grilles, louvres and diffusers, is to enter its next phase of growth with new investment into technology. The business will enhance supply chain management capabilities with the implementation of advanced planning and scheduling solution (APS), Access Orchestrate from Access Group.

Andrew Baines, managing director for RCM Products, explains, “We were prompted to invest in a new APS as we looked to increase visibility and management control of our production. Live tracking of orders will greatly improve our reporting capabilities. This will enable us to manage our customers’ requirements with real-time information which will in turn make RCM Products a more responsive and reliable suppliers to our customers.”

RCM Products selected Access Group as their partner as they had a proven track record with implementations and success in the manufacturing sector. The flexibility of Access Group’s APS met the growing requirements of RCM Products. The ability to deliver a competitive service gave the business confidence in their new solution, including their future.

Andrew concludes, “We will benefit from increased availability of information, which in turn allows greater control over production. This will improve customer lead times, which will benefit us by being able to offer more detailed customer information and reports.
