Addtech acquires Mobile Control Systems SA

Addtech Power Solutions, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire all shares outstanding in MCS, Mobile Control System SA.

MCS is a niche player that develops and supplies electronic throttle- and transmission controls for on and off highway vehicle OEMs. The products that the company supply helps to improve vehicle efficiency and driver comfort. MCS headquarters are located in Brussels and the company has a well-established distributor network and has its own operations in Europe, China and the United States.

MCS will very effectively complement Addtech's current operations in the business unit Customised Solutions. MCS has 17 employees and sales around 5 million EUR.

The closing is estimated to take effect today. The acquisition is estimated to have a marginally positive effect on Addtech’s earnings per share during the current financial year.
