Addtech acquires Rutab

Addtech Energy, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire 80 per cent of the shares outstanding in Rutab AB.

Rutab is a supplier of electro-technical materials and components for automation technology with focus on cable glands, grommets and conduits for cabling solutions as well as machinery cables. The company’s head office is in Nässjö with sales offices in Stockholm, Sundsvall and at a subsidiary in Norway. Since November 2012 is Novum AB a subsidiary to Rutab AB.

Rutab represents global leading suppliers within its product areas and commands a solid position in the Swedish market in its customer and product segments. The company will complement Addtech’s operations carried on within the business unit Energy Products. Rutab has 40 employees and sales of around SEK 150 million.

The closing is estimated to take place in the beginning of April 2013. The acquisition is estimated to have a marginally positive effect on Addtech's earnings per share during next financial year.
