ADEPT welcomes the Airports Commission report on airport expansion

Report this content

ADEPT welcomes the Airports Commission report on airport expansion and in particular the three year long evidence gathering, consultation and independence with which they have produced their final report.

We strongly support the recommendation made by the Commission for Government to make an early decision. The time taken for strategic infrastructure decisions to be made has historically been too long and ADEPT urge Government to act decisively and quickly and set this decision as a model for future infrastructure decisions. This issue cannot be constrained by political cycles or timetables and must be made in the interests of supporting future UK growth.
