A leading North East law firm has strengthened its team with the appointment of another personal injury specialist. Sarah Douglas, 31, has joined the Newcastle office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell, where she will join the award-winning serious injury team. Sarah previously worked at Crutes for five years and at Ward Hadaway for a further eight years. She is currently on the committee for the North East branch of the Institute of Legal Executives. She said: “I am extremely excited to join such a dynamic team. I was attracted to Irwin Mitchell because of the firm’s excellent reputation for client service and, vitally, for getting results. It really is a leading force for personal injury in both the North East and across the UK.” Irwin Mitchell’s regional managing partner John Davis added: “Sarah will be an excellent addition to our team. She’s very experienced and her breadth of knowledge will be a valuable asset to us as we build on our ever-growing reputation in the North East.” Alongside her caseload at Irwin Mitchell, Sarah has a busy family life – as well as being a qualified scuba diver, she is a keen swimmer and has twice completed the Great North Swim at Lake Windermere. She is also a Beaver Leader at Percy Main in Tynemouth.
