ÅF signed master plan project in Turkey

ÅF signed a master plan project for Toroslar Electricity Distribution Company in Turkey.

Toroslar Electricity Distribution Company operates in the south of Turkey and reaches 7.7 million people. The company is realizing approximately 12.5 TWh of the electricity distribution on its distribution line of 76,603 km square. This corresponds to 7.3% of the total electricity consumption in Turkey.

The project mainly consists of:

• Network condition assessment
• Mathematical network modelling and analysis
• Network planning criteria and guidelines
• Spatial and econometric load forecasting
• Short and medium term network planning

The contract’s duration is for 20 months and it was commenced in June 2014.
