Contract for E 18 Sydhavna in Oslo awarded to the AF Group

The AF Group (AFG) has been appointed by the 
Norwegian Public Roads Administration as contractor 
for the development of the E 18 at Sydhavna in Oslo.

The contract is for the construction of a new two-
level crossing on Mosseveien at Kongshavn / 
Karlsborgveien. The E 18 will continue with a single, 
uninterrupted lane in each direction in a concrete 
underpass under the crossing. Traffic to and from the 
harbour will be via a roundabout above the E 18 and a 
new bridge from the roundabout, over the railway line 
and down to the harbour area.

The contract is valued at NOK 307 million, excl. VAT. 
The project includes site preparation work, 
construction and road building. Work will start in 
early spring, after a planning period. The project is 
scheduled for completion by 15 October 2015.
