AGELLIS Group, which develops and markets products for the global metals industry, has received an order of 1.3 million SEK to supply a measuring instrument to a smelter plant in Norway.

The order, which refers to a system for level measurement in furnaces (EMLI-ELP) is to be used in a research and development furnace. The instrument will be delivered during the current quarter and installed during the second quarter of 2012.

"This is our second order for an EMLI-ELP instrument from Norway in a short period of time. It is good to see an Agellis system installed early in the development of a new furnace and process. This gives us a good opportunity to promote the EMLI-ELP as the preferred system for new furnace types, as well as in established furnaces" says Patrik Bloemer, CEO of Agellis.

For competitive reasons, Agellis chooses not to mention the end user plant by name.

All Agellis products are based on a common electronic platform called EMLI. EMLI-ELP (Electro Magnetic Level Profiling) measures with high accuracy the different layers of material in a furnace, such as metal and slag. An accurate level measurement of the different layers in a furnace is a prerequisite for higher yield and increased quality of the metal produced.
