Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj’s new dividend policy and proposal regarding return of equity

The Board of Directors of Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj has today resolved on a new dividend policy. According to the new dividend policy, Ahlstrom-Munksjö aims to distribute a stable, over time increasing dividend, to be paid biannually.

Further, to facilitate the transition to biannual distribution of funds, the Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting to be held on May 16, 2017 that it resolves on the payment of funds from the reserve for invested unrestricted equity as return of equity in the amount of EUR 0.23 per share, which would be paid in September 2017. The notice to convene the Annual General Meeting, which contains said proposal on the payment of funds, will be published separately by the Board of Directors.
