Decision on apportionment of ownership interests in the Johan Sverdrup field

The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (MPE) has now decided the apportionment of the ownership interests in the Johan Sverdrup field. The decision means that Det norske oljeselskap will have a total ownership interest in the Johan Sverdrup field of 11.5733 percent.

The apportionment is based on an assessment carried out by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD). Based on the decision, the ownership interests in the field break down as follows:

Statoil:                  40.0267 percent
Lundin:                 22.6000 percent
Petoro:                 17.3600 percent
Det norske:          11.5733 percent
Maersk Oil:            8.4400 percent
