In the name and on behalf of FIL Limited, P. O. Box 
HM 670, Hamilton HMCX, Bermuda, (the "Investment 
Manager") we hereby notify you pursuant to STA 
Chapter 4, Section 4-1 the following:

On 22 June 2012 the shares and rights to shares in 
Aker Solutions ASA (the "Company") attributable to 
the Investment Manager fell below the threshold of 
5%.  The threshold was crossed by means of sales of 
340,000 shares.  

As a consequence, the total shareholding deemed to be 
held is 13,385,949 which represents 4.89% of the 
shares outstanding and voting rights of the Company. 

The shares and rights to shares are owned by the 
funds listed on Schedule A and are managed by the 
designated management companies which are 
undertakings controlled by the Investment Manager.
