Aktia Bank's credit rating from Moody's unchanged and with stable outlook


Moody's Investors Service Ltd has confirmed Aktia Bank plc's credit ratings A1
for long term borrowing, P1 for short-term borrowing, and C for financial
strength, all with stable outlook. 

- The fact that our credit rating remains unchanged in the present market
situation confirms the strength of Aktia's basic business model and our
conservative and successful risk-taking. A stable credit rating improves our
refinancing. This strengthens our competitiveness on the market and our chances
for profitable growth, says Jukka Sarkanen, Aktia's Head of Treasury.
