Aktia Group initiates co-operation negotiations

The group is aiming for a substantial increase in revenues and a 10% reduced cost base during the coming three years, as was communicated in Aktia’s interim report 3 Aug 2011. Aktia is now adjusting the group cost structure to enable profitable growth going forward. In some of Aktia’s subsidiaries, co-operation negotiations for rationalisation measures will start for financial and production reasons as well as for reorganisational reasons.

The negotiations are estimated to result in the reduction of 40 employees. In addition, Aktia has already introduced and is introduing a number of other savings measures within the group’s different functions.

One-off costs will probably result from the reorganisation during the last quarter of 2011. The size of these costs will materialize during the negotiations.
