Chicago, IL (April 15, 2013) – All Terrain, one of the fastest growing national Experiential Marketing agencies, recently announced that Christian Lemke has been named director of new business development and marketing, a new position reporting to Brook Jay, co-founder and CMO of All Terrain.

In this role, Lemke will develop strategies and lead efforts to expand the agency’s client roster. He will also direct the agency’s marketing communications program including advertising, PR, and digital marketing.

“Experiential Marketing is taking a greater role in brand marketing efforts as marketers shift away from traditional IMC models to more experience-based approaches,” says Jay. “Christian’s proven record of business building and brand stewardship will be invaluable as we continue to boost awareness of All Terrain’s unique Experiential Marketing agency model.”

Lemke, (33), brings more than a decade of business development and brand building experience with an emphasis in creating successful sales and marketing strategies on behalf of marketing agency brands. He most recently served as director of business development for Intersport, Inc. in Chicago where he led marketing initiatives for its experiential marketing and sponsorship division. Lemke was also responsible for creating award-winning experiential marketing and sponsorship solutions for global brands including J.P. Morgan Chase, General Motors, Sony, TD Ameritrade and Mercedes-Benz.

Previously, Lemke served as director of marketing at SME where he developed sales and marketing strategies to create partnerships with key sports properties. He was responsible for working with the branding team to create brand communication strategies for global clients including the NHL, FIFA, adidas and Madison Square Garden. Lemke also established a partnership with the European Stadium Managers Association and positioned SME as the leading brand consultancy among European sport and entertainment venues.

Before joining SME, Lemke was events and promotions assistant at ESPN Radio. He began his career as a marketing and associate brand strategist at TOP Sportmarketing in Berlin, Germany.

Lemke has a B.S. in business administration & sports management from Robert Morris University. He graduated summa cum laude. He also has a diploma in Finance and Marketing from Berufsakademie Berlin.

“Misconceptions about Experiential Marketing still exist in our industry. Leaders in the field have moved far from event design to experiential design, replacing traditional integration practices,” says Sarah Eck-Thompson, co-founder of All Terrain. “Christian will be All Terrain’s frontline advocate in helping to bring a greater awareness to the true impact Experiential can bring.”

“For fifteen years All Terrain has continued to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Experiential Marketing,” says Lemke. “I’m looking forward to helping to boost efforts to bring their unique story and revolutionary approach to Experiential Design to market.”
