Allied Specialty Vehicles Names John Walsh Vice President of Sales for ASV Bus
Orlando, Fla. (Monday, June 1, 2015) – Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV), a leading manufacturer of motor vehicles for commercial, fire & emergency and recreation markets, today announced that John Walsh has been named vice president of sales for ASV Bus. Walsh will lead all sales for ASV commercial, transit and school bus companies and report directly to Kent Tyler, president of ASV Bus & Mobility Group.

John has more than 20 years of sales management experience in the bus industry under his belt and knows how to work effectively with dealers and customers,” Tyler said. “He is knowledgeable about our products, understands our sales goals and will put in a tireless effort to elevate our brands and grow our business.”

Walsh arrives from Mobility Ventures LLC (MV-1) where he has been vice president of sales and marketing since 2013. Prior to this, he was vice president of sales and marketing at ARBOC Specialty Vehicles. Previous to this, Walsh held positions of increasing responsibility at National Bus Sales & Leasing, Inc. Walsh earned his bachelor’s degree from Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C.
