According to Morphic Technologies AB (publ) (”Morphic”) articles of association, owners of Class A shares have the right to have such shares converted to Class B shares. A conversion will reduce the total number of votes in the company. Dynawind AB, a Morphic subsidiary, has revealed in September that the projected cost of the company’s wind power project Lake Vänern has been exceeded by at most SEK 30m.Dynawind’s Managing Director, Erik Göthlin, is stepping down with immediate effect. The Morphic Group’s net turnover for the period was SEK 73.3m (108.0), a decrease of 32.1 percent. The operating loss was SEK -64.3m (-45.1). The Group reports a loss after financial items for the first quarter of SEK -61.1m (-40.1) and an after-tax loss of SEK -54.0m (-37.9). Restructuring and Rationalization

As announced previously, Morphic Technologies has initiated a restructuring program aimed at focusing on the Group’s core businesses, Wind and Fuel Cells. As a result, the non-core business Dynamis AB has today been sold to Binar AB. The sale is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Morphic’s financial position. To enable the sale, the company has had to lay off 11 staff.In Morphic’s other non-core businesses the economic downturn has necessitated rationalization measures. 30 members of staff in the Group have been made redundant and further redundancies cannot be excluded.

Kurt Dahlberg Leaves Morphic’s Board

The Morphic subsidiary AccaGen has received an order for a hydrogen production system from the toolmaker JV Bahco Bisov. The system will be used in a new factory in Minsk and the order is worth €200,000. The buyer is JV Bahco Bisov, a part of SNA Europe, which belongs to the global Snap-on group.JV Bahco Bisov is planning to use the hydrogen produced by the system as protective gas in a furnace at the rolling line for high speed steel production at a new plant in Minsk, Belarus.
