AniCura, one of Europe’s leading providers of high-quality veterinary care for companion animals, acquires Tierärztliche Klinik Dr. Peter Neuhofer in Neu-Ulm. By joining AniCura, the clinic gains a professional partner and solid platform for continued professional and veterinary development.

Veterinarian Peter Neuhofer founded Tierärztliche Klinik Dr. Peter Neuhofer, now AniCura Tierärztliche Klinik Neu-Ulm, in 1992. The clinic employs a team of 24 veterinary professionals offering specialised veterinary services to approximately 10 000 patients each year. Special areas of expertise are surgery (soft tissue, orthopaedics and neurosurgery), internal medicine, with a particular emphasis on cardiology, as well as dermatology, diagnostic imaging, dentistry and ophthalmology.

In 2002 Tierärztliche Klinik Dr. Peter Neuhofer moved to new facilities comprising 600 square meters and containing surgery rooms, nursing wards and various modalities for diagnostic imaging, such as CT (Computed Tomography), radiology, including dental radiology, ultrasound heart and abdomen as well as endoscopy.
