Hit iOS puzzle game goes free for a day while introducing 20 new levels and five new playable characters

Montevideo, Uruguay and New York -- July 11, 2011 -- Smoody, the highly acclaimed physics-based iOS game, introduces 20 new underwater-themed levels along with five never-before-seen, playable characters in its latest update. The game now includes 100 mind-bending levels to conquer on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. With over one million downloads in a single week following launch, Smoody became an instant hit on the iOS platform, and was the #1 top downloaded app in the US App Store. This latest release reveals an entirely new set of challenges for players as they help the Smoodies reunite and create a portal home. To celebrate this update, Smoody and Smoody HD will be free for today.

Lost in the Unknown! How Do We Get Home?
A lovable race of aliens called “Smoodies” awaken to discover that they have been separated in various regions of the universe. Players are tasked with making precise cuts to the environment to allow the Smoodies to reach the black hole on each level. Strategically slice and manipulate items such as swinging rocks, wooden contraptions and giant horseshoe magnets with expert precision and get the Smoodies rolling back to their home planet!
