AS Ekspress Grupp: Sales in February

Tallinn, Estonia, 2012-03-12 16:03 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 

The Group’s sales in February increased by 9.1% compared to the same period
previous year. The online media segment increased by 10.7% with Delfi Estonia
being the largest contributor to the growth. The periodicals segment increased
by 7.3%. The sales of the printing services segment grew by 17.3%. When
eliminating the additional sales in relation to the acquisition of Eesti
Päevalehe AS, the Group’s sales increased by 6.2% compared to last year and the
sales of periodicals decreased by 5.2%. The decrease in the periodicals segment
is still due to declined book publishing sales compared to previous year. In
regards of advertising sales, almost all publications had a good month, single
copy sales and subscription sales remained more or less at the previous year’s
level.
