Aspire Global applies for a swedish gaming license

Aspire Global plc today has submitted the application for a Swedish gaming license. The new Swedish gaming act and license system will enter into force on January 1st2019, making Sweden the seventh regulated market for Aspire Global.  

In line with Aspire Global’s focus on regulated markets, the company today has submitted an application for a Swedish gaming license. Aspire Global is thereby aiming for its seventh regulated market; a significant competetive advantage among platform providers within iGaming.

The new gambling act and license system enters into force on January 1st 2019, requiring operators in the Swedish iGaming market to hold a local gaming license in order to offer online gambling and betting. Applications are accepted by The Swedish Gambling Authority, Lotteriinspektionen, as of August 1st 2018.
