Even more on offer at GL1’s Toddler World
If you’re looking for a way to keep your toddler active now that Autumn is well-and-truly here, Toddler World at GL1 Leisure Centre in Gloucester could be it.
Toddler World was launched earlier this year, providing a fun and interactive daily play session for under-fives and the equipment on offer such as a ball pond, soft play and bouncy castle has already proved very popular with parents and children alike.
Starting this month, the team at GL1 have added a comprehensive diary of events to the daily Toddler World sessions. From monthly Sport and Activity Weeks including Martial Arts and Baby Yoga, to Halloween and Bonfire Night inspired arts and crafts, toddlers will be kept entertained with activities to suit everyone.
Julie Barnes, Development Officer at GL1 Leisure Centre said: “One of our aims at Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust is to make Gloucester a place in which people of all ages and abilities have access to high quality, enjoyable sporting opportunities and we strongly believe that Toddler World is a stimulating place for young people to be kept active.”
“It has already been very popular and we wanted to extend what we provided so the children that attend Toddler World are kept interested and entertained, at a reasonable price.”
A session at Toddler World costs £4 for non-members or £3.20 for aspire20 cardholders. Aspire also offer free sessions to children with an Active Life Membership.
Starting at £20 per month, the Active Life Membership includes a range of courses and activities for children as well as Toddler World. For pre-school children, the Active Life Membership includes GL1 Little Warriors (martial arts), World Football, Yoga and Rugby Tykes. Free tasters for all sessions are available and different sessions are on offer for children of all ages.
