astragon Entertaiment GmbH and GAMBITIOUS digital entertainment conclude publishing contract


Mönchengladbach/GERMANY, May 17th, 2016 – astragon Entertainment GmbH today officially announced the conclusion of a publishing agreement with GAMBITIOUS digital entertainment. With this agreement astragon ensures the Europe-wide exclusive rights in retail for publishing and distribution of the upcoming construction- and economy simulation Transport Fever from the Swiss developer studio Urban Games, which was already announced a few days ago. In specific this agreement includes all countries of the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Russia, and Turkey. In 2014 astragon already obtained the distribution rights for the successful predecessor Train Fever.

Transport Fever is the official successor of this exciting logistics simulation. Besides the trains and rail transport already known from Train Fever, Transport Fever  
will also include the transport of goods via ships, trucks and planes and thereby allows to develop a significant more complex and multi-facetted transport and economy system.

In total the new simulation will contain over 120 detailed recreated trains, trams, trucks, busses, ships and planes and it will cover 150 years of transport history like its predecessor. In Transport Fever players will also be able to choose between an American and an European setting. For both scenarios there will not only be one individual campaign with challenging missions, but also the option for an endless game. The release for Transport Fever is planned for fall 2016.
