Atea enters into agreement with JN Data for IT workplace operation of financial institutions in Denmark

(Denmark) JN Data A/S, who ensures stable and secure
IT operations in many of the largest financial
institutions in Denmark, has selected Atea A/S in
Denmark for the development of an IT workplace
concept to JN Data's customer BEC (Bankernes EDB
Central). The agreement has an expected services
value of minimum DKK 94 million (NOK 93.5 million)
over the next five years.
The agreement implies up to 6,000 users for JN Data's
client BEC and BEC's customers, and Atea will be
responsible for the management and development of an
IT workplace concept, physical and virtual.
Management of JN Data's PC platform includes
everything from design, administration and software
development, support for hardware replacement,
relocation and recycling of used IT equipment.
The agreement will have effect as of 1 April 2013 and
can be extended to include other JN Data clients, as
well.
