Atea reports financial results for Q4 2018

Atea reported record high revenue and cash flow from operations in Q4 2018.  EBIT was below last year due to lower profits in Denmark.

Financial highlights are as follows:

•  Revenue: NOK 10.2 billion (NOK 10.0 billion)
•  Gross profit: NOK 2.1 billion (NOK 2.1 billion)
•  EBIT: NOK 309 million (NOK 392 million)
•  Cash flow from operations: NOK 2.3 billion (NOK 1.8 billion)

For the full year 2018, revenue grew to NOK 34.7 billion, an increase of 7% from last year. EBIT fell to NOK 690 million from NOK 799 million last year. Outside of Denmark and a start-up investment in AppXite SIA, revenue grew by 11% and EBIT grew by 19% from last year.

“Atea had very strong growth in revenue and operating profit in all geographies outside of Denmark in 2018,” commented Atea CEO Steinar Sønsteby. “In Denmark, our business began to recover in the fourth quarter, with greatly improved sales to the public sector.”
