Today Attendo released its annual report for 2016. This year there is a new and clearer focus on the company’s sustainability work and contribution to society.

“2016 was another good year for Attendo. We had high quality marks and high customer satisfaction which in combination with a stable financial result allowed us to start establishing more new beds in care homes and nursing homes than ever before in the company’s history. The basis for this positive development is that we continue to improve everyday life for tens of thousands of people while we are contributing to handle great challenges to society”, says Attendo’s CEO Henrik Borelius.

The 2016 Annual Report presents Attendos way of working and model for sustainability, which is focused on three main areas: development of society, our employees, and quality of care and health care. All areas showed a continued good progress during 2016. Attendo has reported a sharp increase in the rate of establishing new nursing homes in the Nordic region, which helps local authorities reduce waiting lines to care for older people. In 2016, the rate increased from just over 750 beds under construction at the beginning of the year to 1,935 beds by year-end.
