The transaction has now been approved by the Finnish Competition Authority and is expected to be completed on 28 December 2018.

Attendo will continue to provide care services in Finland, primarily in care for older people, social psychiatry and in care for people with disabilities. After the divestment, operations in Finland consist of around 370 units with annual sales of approximately SEK 5 billion. The operations are led by Attendo Finland's Managing Director Pertti Karjalainen.
