Leeds, UK, 09/12/12: Japan’s biggest-selling headphone brand, Audio-Technica is to open the doors to its stunning new Paris-Louvre ‘concept store’ on 17 December 2011. Designed to reflect the brand’s 50 year dedication to both creativity and technical excellence, the store is a stylish showcase for Audio-Technica’s wide range of headphone products, from world-class hi-fi headphones to mobile phone headsets and DJ monitors.

Featuring furniture created by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka (creator of retail stores for Issey Miyake),  Audio-Technica’s Paris store even includes a special enclosure that reproduces the noise of an Airbus A380 taking off, allowing visitors to experience the remarkable noise-cancelling properties of headphones including the ANC7b. Elsewhere, the Natural Collection which benefit from gorgeous exotic wood finishes is presented in a warm, contemporary setting dedicated to hi-fi headphones.

Richard Garrido, Audio-Technica Europe president said, “We are delighted to be opening the first Audio-Technica store outside of Asia in the very heart of Paris. It will be the perfect venue for customers to come and try an exceptional and diverse range of headphones – the combination of pure, clean lines, muted colours and light woods involved in the store design makes for a fabulous retail environment. In addition, highly trained Audio-Technica staff will be perfectly placed to help visitors pick out their ideal headphones, whether for travelling, audiophile or professional use.”

Audio-Technica’s new Paris-Louvre store is located at 11 rue des Pyramides, 75001, Paris.
