Auriemma Consulting Group Announces the Introduction of the New ACG Payments Report

Report this content

In January 2011, the Auriemma Consulting Group (ACG) introduced The Debit Report (TDR).  During its first year of publication, TDR maintained a laser-like focus on debit card usage, demographics, and the impact of the Durbin Amendment.  ACG’s publications have always kept pace with changes in the payments industry and consistent with this objective, we are broadening TDR’s research focus to include prepaid cards as well as emerging and growing payment methods (including mobile, P2P, ACH, etc.).

As part of this expanded research focus, the report will continue following debit usage and demographic changes, but will be re-named The ACG Payments Report.  The new name helps to communicate the expanded research focus, and ACG believes the new ACG Payments Report will meet a variety of unmet research needs for reliable data on consumer payments.  Aside from traditional retail banks, other parties served by the new report will include mobile carriers, technology startups, payments networks, the investment community and others.

Subscribers to The ACG Payments Report receive much more than a syndicated market research report, they also get access to a research panel they can utilize without the need to field a proprietary consumer survey.  All ACG research reports feature access to its flexible research platform which is designed to work around the needs of subscribers.  As a result, we regularly explore a variety of topics and trends and can also quickly generate data that captures the consumer's point of view on a number of different payment methods, none of which can be found elsewhere.
