Aurora Clinics Riding High After Gaining 10 Million Views for their Surgery Videos
UK-Based Plastic Surgery Group Celebrate Huge YouTube Viewing Figures
UK Plastic Surgery group Aurora Clinics have just reached an impressive milestone. Their video channel on YouTube has now been watched a massive 10 million times since their very first video was published on 7th January 2009.
Aurora have long recognised how useful video can be for sharing information. Not everyone considering surgery is keen on reading large amounts of text to find the information they need - with many preferring to watch a bitesize video that summarises a procedure, or answers a specific question.
Their video channel was initially started to cater for these people, and has now evolved to include a varied mix of more than 500 videos - including information videos, surgical videos and patient testimonials.
Always looking to innovate, Aurora pioneered the use of Frequently Asked Questions series for particular procedures. With these, each short video answers just one question - making it quick and easy for people to pinpoint they exact information they are looking for.
Aurora Clinics’ Videographer and YouTube Channel Manager, James Harby, says:
“It’s a massive achievement that so many people have visited, and continue to visit, our channel to get the information they are looking for. Our goal is to provide as much information as possible to anyone thinking about surgery. Hopefully our videos have helped lots of people to make a much more informed decision when it comes to going ahead with surgery. ”
New videos are usually uploaded to the company's YouTube channel every day, making it one of the largest and most watched plastic surgery channels on YouTube.
