The Continental Cup is the FA WSL league cup competition, and was introduced along with the league in 2011.  Following a number of highly contested rounds in which 18 teams competed, the final took place at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park stadium on Thursday 16 October, with Arsenal Ladies succumbing to a narrow 1-0 loss to rivals Manchester City.

Lorna David, Operations and administration at Westway commented: “As one of London’s major transport providers and a long term customer of Continental Tyres, we were excited to be given the opportunity to be involved with the Continental Cup. Their ‘getting you to the game safely’ slogan especially appealed as it reflects the principles we apply to every journey, a crucial element of transportation today.”

Lorna continued “We have worked with both Continental tyres and our local Conti360 Network partner Tadworth Tyres for many years.  Not only do they offer a fast reliable service, their level of customer service is exceptional.  As a leading coach provider our focus is firmly on quality and safety. The combination of excellent service life from the tyres and the flexibility and knowledge of our vehicle requirements from Tadworth ensures we are able to offer the best service and peace of mind to our customers.”
