SAN JOSE, Calif., and SINGAPORE, April 3, 2012 -- Avago Technologies (Nasdaq: AVGO), a leading supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications, today announced it has been named one of the 100 “Most Trustworthy Companies” that trade on U.S. stock exchanges by Forbes magazine. The list is based on quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess companies’ quality of accounting and management practices.

Independent financial analytics company GMI Ratings evaluated more than 8,000 companies to create the list, and Avago was one of only eight companies recognized in the survey’s large market capitalization category. Avago earned an accounting and governance risk (AGR) score of 92 out of a possible 100, with an average AGR score of 87 for the last four quarters.

“It is an honor for us at Avago to receive this recognition from a highly respected voice in the financial community such as Forbes,” said Doug Bettinger, senior vice president of Finance and CFO at Avago. “This is the second recognition for the financial management of Avago in the last few months, which we regard as a reflection of the overall fiscal health and stability of our company.”

In December 2011, the Global Semiconductor Alliance named Avago the “Best Financially Managed Semiconductor Company” for 2011.
