Next generation Avizia product supports more Cisco codecs and offers connectivity
and control of more devices.

Avizia, Inc., a leading provider of cutting-edge video conferencing solutions, today announced the availability of the new Avizia MC600™ (formerly the “Educator”), which makes setting up and controlling conference room systems easier than ever. In addition to its existing compatibility with the C90 codec, the new MC600 is now compatible with the Cisco C60 and C40 codecs as well, giving users improved flexibility as well as control over one to four displays in a room. The new MC600 also enables users to control more devices, such as projectors, doc cameras and displays, making it Avizia’s most versatile product to date.

“Our customers have high expectations, which is why we are continually enhancing our product line,” said Mike Baird, Avizia CEO. “Because the Avizia MC600 now works with more codecs and more devices, it gives customers greater freedom to tailor fit the conference room experience to the needs of the audience and improve the level of collaboration and knowledge sharing in the process.”

Because the MC600 gives users more codec choices, the video conferencing solution is also now more affordable than ever. The MC600 also includes the MC Remote app, which allows presenters to roam the room using an iPad interface to control the experience, such as putting content up on displays, making video calls, or controlling other devices in the room like document cameras.

Avizia will be showcasing the new MC600 live this week in Cisco’s booth #904 at the 2014 Enterprise Connect tradeshow in Orlando, Florida. Avizia is one of the world’s largest suppliers of video conferencing solutions, with more than 500 customers in 20 countries around the globe.
