Tea Lehto has been appointed Managing Director of TMT Malinen. TMT Malinen was acquired by Axel Johnson International AB and integrated into the Transport Solutions Group in January 2018.

Lehto previously worked at Finnsonic, a producer of ultrasonic cleaning equipment. “We are very happy to have Tea onboard and we extend our warm welcome,” says Erik Eklöv, Managing Director, Transport Solutions business group.

“Tea has a solid management background and her values are a good fit with Axel Johnson International. Her experience from manufacturing companies and technical products will also be useful for continuing TMT Malinen’s development.”

Lehto succeeds Keijo Malinen, who is retiring after more than 40 years with the company. “Keijo developed the company very well during this period, and he will continue on the TMT Malinen board of directors,” Eklöv comments. “We are especially grateful for Keijo’s support since the acquisition. I wish both Keijo and Tea good luck with their future challenges.”

TMT Malinen is one of the largest suppliers to the bodybuilding industry in Finland, designing innovative products and working with an international network to provide complete service. It is located in Lahti, Finland and has a subsidiary in the Baltics.

The appointment was effective September 17.
