New Team Bactiguard
Good to Great Tennis Academy and Swedish medtech company Bactiguard AB have today announced that they are continuing to strengthen the development of future tennis talent in Sweden by focusing on younger players between 13 to 14 years of age. Together, Good to Great Tennis Academy and Bactiguard have created a new Team Bactiguard consisting of five promising tennis players in Sweden.
The program will continue for at least five years where the players will have Robin Brage and Martin Öhrman as their coaches. Bactiguard’s sponsorship makes it possible for Good to Great Academy’s Team Bactiguard to have access to and train with a complete set of expert tennis, physical performance and medical network. Team Bactiguard players have done well internationally; they can train and compete in a world-class environment. Players from original Team Bactiguard like Elias Ymer, Mikael Ymer, Daniel Windahl and Fred Simonsson have all played and represented Sweden in the Davis Cup.
"We are seeing a very interesting generation of players in the 13 - 14 age range in Sweden who have done extremely well internationally," says Nicklas Kulti, partner at Good to Great Tennis Academy. Kulti further said, "We have a good competition situation in Sweden with this generation which means being able to encourage and motivate each other to achieve great success."
Bactiguard's CEO Christian Kinch has been interested in tennis since his childhood and says:
"The combination of working with some of the world's best tennis players while inspiring other young people to focus on health and sport are the goals of this unique venture. We are very impressed by these young players and want to help them realize their dreams to the fullest.”
