Voith Moves to Basware Invoice Receiving Service
Espoo, Finland, 17 May 2018 – Basware, the global leader in networked source-to-pay solutions, e-invoicing and innovative financing services, has signed a new deal with Voith Global Business Services EMEA GmbH. Voith is a new customer to Basware.
“Voith was originally looking for an OCR-based solution to digitalize their paper-based vendor invoices. But our versatile approach to start with scanning/OCR and then activate suppliers to move to electronic invoicing convinced them that Basware’s way of doing things offers better business case and is more future-proof,” says André von de Finn, Director, Network Business Area DACH, Basware.
“We will start with Germany and Austria and after that roll-out to China, USA and Canada. For the activation campaign we focus on Basware’s PDF e-Invoice solution, which offers the best time-to-value and scalability,” continues von de Finn.
