BIMobject, the world’s leading BIM content platform, releases a new desktop application to organise and curate all content in the BIM process: BIMobject EVO. This new application, available for free to all users, helps to increase productivity and efficiency, as well as facilitating the management of an ever-increasing number of BIM objects.

BIMobject EVO increases control, flexibility and efficiency for users to manage their BIM objects. The application gathers all digital assets for the BIM process in one place, regardless if they are hosted locally or downloaded from other sources. Content sourced from bimobject.com can take advantage of the enhanced data and workflow capacity of the ecosystem. This means that for instance light fixtures, sinks, furniture, and kitchen appliances can be listed in a structured inventory.

BIMobject EVO is fully integrated with bimobject.com, making it easier than ever to find BIM objects. For instance, users have the ability to import existing content, local folder structures and find all BIM content easily with a fully editable tagging system. The direct Revit integration allows for a seamless and unbroken design workflow.

With the private cloud-based platform Hercules integrated into EVO, BIM managers can easily invite users to company-owned and privately hosted BIM content. BIMboards have been extended and enhanced so users can quickly and easily pin their favourite BIM objects to their boards and share them across multiple project teams.

BIMobject EVO has been developed for all major operating systems: Windows, MAC and Linux. For more information go to https://evo.bimobject.com

The usage of BIM technology continues to increase, which makes it all the more important for users to easily manage the growing number of BIM objects and data they need to use in their daily work life. BIMobject EVO easily gathers all data in one place, and streamlines this extra work, making it possible for them to focus on their core business. This will increase users daily use of the platform more than ever”, says Ben O’Donnell, CTO of BIMobject.
