No sales increase in the third quarter due to delayed deliveries

No sales increase in the third quarter due to delayed deliveries Contact: Jeff Bork, President and CEO Tel: +46 734 22 16 60 Uppsala 5 October 2004 Deliveries of the new system for purification of drug compounds, SPX, that Biotage launched in the summer have been delayed three months. Therefore, estimated sales for the third quarter is between 83 and 85 MSEK. The delay of the SPX systems depends on software development delays. The software is now finished and the systems are being delivered to customers. This means that the sales increase from the earlier announced large orders are estimated to appear in the fourth quarter. Further information will be presented in the interim report for January to September 2004, which will be published October 21, 2004.
