The business information company Bisnode is selling its Swiss non-core operation Credita, specialized in debt collection. The sale of Credita is part of Bisnode’s effort to streamline its business as a supplier of decision support tools based on credit, market and business information.

Credita has its office in Urdorf with 16 employees, have annual revenue of SEK 26 million with a stable profit level.

The divestment was closed on February 2, 2015 and will not have any significant earnings impact for Bisnode Group’s in 2015.

"Bisnode’s strategy is to provide our customers with insights that enable smart decisions. In 2008 Credita was acquired with the intent of integrating their credit information business with our existing core operation in Switzerland, in order to provide better credit solutions. The integration of Creditas credit information has been successful at the same time we see that the non-core debt collection business can be developed better with another owner. This divestment will also free resources that can strengthen the core business in Switzerland that has been growing steadily over the past years”, says Lars Pettersson, CEO of Bisnode.
