Bonava completes investor transaction and sells 90 rental apartments in Malmö.

Bonava is selling a rental project in the Elinegård district of Malmö, Sweden, to the housing company Willhem. The project comprises 90 rental apartments and the sales price amounts to approximately SEK 179 million. 

- The sale and the project are aligned with our strategy to develop more rental apartments in Sweden. This is the fifth project that we have sold to Willhem, which is a good indication of the high quality of our work and our products as well as our successful partnership with Willhem, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit Manager, Bonava Sweden.

The project is located in Malmö’s expansive southern region, with good connections to Kastrup Airport, Copenhagen and Malmö city centre. The Öresund region is undergoing significant growth and has an active labour market, and thus the location of the project is highly favourable.

The project is expected to be handed over to the customer and recognised in profit in the fourth quarter of 2019.
