Half a million reasons to use your local Good Garage Scheme member
There are now half a million reasons why you should use your local Good Garage Scheme member after the regulatory body received a landmark 500,000 feedback comments on its website.
To mark the impressive milestone, the Good Garage Scheme has awarded a free tank of fuel to the lucky motorist that left the 500,000th feedback comment.
With several thousand independent UK garages listed in the Good Garage Scheme, feedback is a very important tool for its members and a vital accessory for new business. Through its website, the Good Garage Scheme has been compiling feedback comments from customers for the last few years and is ‘delighted’ to have reached 500,000 comments.
Marketing Manager of the Good Garage Scheme Anndi Sheppard commented: “It is a fantastic achievement not only for the Good Garage Scheme but also to our members that we have received 500,000 feedback comments. Customer feedback is a very important part of running a business and the comments we have received have helped our members to improve their businesses further. The majority of feedback we have received has been very complementary to the services offered by our members and prove that they are going the extra mile to satisfy customers’ needs.”
The 500,000th piece of feedback was awarded to Denbighshire’s Autoservices NW Limited and gave five star scores for helpfulness of staff, quality of contact, standard of work and general satisfaction. Mr & Mrs Sturgess, the customers who left the feedback stated that they would recommend the garage to others and described the owner as ‘extremely helpful at all times.’
Mr and Mrs Sturgess’ own reward for leaving the 500,000th piece of feedback on the Good Garage Scheme website was a free tank of fuel they were delighted to receive. Mrs Sturgess commented: “As my local independent garage, I have never had a problem with Autoservices NW Limited and have always received excellent service from them. I find that by using an independent garage you receive a much more personalised service. Often the larger repair chains do not have the time to pay you much attention and tend to service your vehicle and send you on your way. With an independent garage, they get to know you as a customer and treat you as an individual rather than just another number.
“I am really delighted with the free tank of fuel the Good Garage Scheme awarded me with. I think it is really good that the Good Garage Scheme rewards the customers of its member garages in this way.”
