BrightSign’s fastest, smallest and lowest cost solid-state digital signage player forms centrepiece of London show presence

Stand B47, Screenmedia Expo, Earl’s Court, London, May 16-17

London, England – 17 April 2012 – BrightSign®, a leading innovator in digital signage solutions, will exhibit its new BrightSign HD solid-state digital signage controllers for the first time on its joint stand with Pixels at Screenmedia Expo in London (stand B47, Earl’s Court, London, May 16-17). Also on the stand will be demonstrations of touch screen way-finding, portable tabletop display technology, QSR menu board featuring Live Text, video wall synchronisation, BrightAuthor presentation creation software, BrightSign Network publishing and management software as well as the new BrightSign Network Web UI.

The new BrightSign HD controllers feature Full HD for flawless video playback, are more affordable and have a smaller form factor than ever before. The new HD players are integrated with a next-generation microprocessor that allows BrightSign to deliver improved media playback performance as well as save on manufacturing costs and pass the savings on to its customers. Offering the solid-state stability that has made BrightSign a trusted name in the digital signage industry, the new HD line has three models to support a wide variety of applications ranging from stand-alone kiosk displays to networked solutions with engaging interactivity.

Included with BrightSign players are a variety of networking options and industry-leading BrightAuthor, an intuitive drag and drop PC software application, also being demonstrated at Screenmedia Expo. BrightAuthor simplifies the creation, publishing, management and monitoring of digital signage displays. The application offers simple playlist creation for both looping and interactive presentations as well as dynamic capabilities such as the incorporation of Live Text to connect Twitter feeds, stock tickers and other private and public databases to digital signage displays. It also supports the creation of synchronised video walls for vibrant exhibits, events and promotions and the setting up of dynamic playlists to update a set of content without republishing an entire presentation. In addition, BrightSign Network is a subscription based hosted networking service that provides remote and secure network management, content updates, presentation scheduling and content library management. This network solution is a scalable and affordable service ideal for any size network of BrightSign units.

Visitors will also be able to try the recently released BrightSign Network Web UI at Screenmedia Expo. The new Web UI gives BrightSign Network users access to their networked BrightSign digital signage controllers from anywhere in the world using a simple Internet connection. It allows users to perform several tasks remotely such as creating and scheduling looping presentations, uploading content to your Library, creating and editing dynamic playlists, managing network groups and more.
