$100,000+ Training Grant Awarded in Scottsdale Arizona
BroadcastAZ, a Broadcast USA Company, Will Provide Specialized Training for Up to 14 New Hires at New HD Live Shot Broadcast Center
(Scottsdale, AZ — June 28, 2012) — Broadcast USA LLC received a $100,000 + grant from the Arizona Commerce Authority to train new hires in the new HD Broadcast technology including HD camera operation, lighting, sound, post production, and leading edge telecommunication technology at its BroadcastAZ HD Broadcast Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Additional positions being considered incorporate sales and marketing, makeup/hair, media training, camera technician of Live Shot Broadcasts and logistical functions for an operating HD studio.
The Arizona Job Training Program is a job-specific reimbursable grant program that supports the design and delivery of customized training plans for companies creating new jobs or increasing the skill and wage levels of existing positions. Under a “Net New Grant” an employer creating new jobs can apply for a grant to receive up to 75% of their eligible training expenses reimbursed.

This grant enables BroadcastAZ to provide superior training that will enhance the skill sets of many local professionals,” said Bonnie Adams, Broadcast USA’s director of operations. “Scottsdale’s unique business environment, technology corridor and highly skilled work force were driving factors in our desire to open our first HD Broadcast Center. This grant will expand our presence in the community.”

The Job Training program is established under A.R.S. §41-1541 et seq. In early 2011, Governor Jan Brewer signed into law HB2001 – Arizona’s Competitiveness Package. This legislation marks a new level of Arizona commitment; making it easier for existing Arizona companies to be more prosperous and it establishes Arizona as one of the most desirable places for expanding companies to do business.
