Sales during January provides Bure with gains of approximately SEK 290M Scribona has today made an agreement to sell the office product chain, Svanströms, with a capital gain of approximately SEK 165M before tax. Investment AB Bure owns 51 per cent of capital and 64 per cent of votes in Scribona and thus consolidates the company. This means that the result of the sale also influences Bure's earnings. Together with the sale of Fritidsresor, today's sale will provide Bure with an earnings contribution of approximately SEK 290M before minority and taxes which will be reported in the first quarter of 1998. "Bure's earnings for the first quarter of 1997 amounted to SEK 333M before minority and taxes.
