We are committed to the continuous improvement process and have used Business Impact effectively to develop our internal teams through BIT Level 2 / 3. Our sector is driven by innovation, quality and high level compliance. These are all enhanced when your internal team are highly proficient in BIT, as they work more closely in a collaborative process to find the best solutions for the customer.
I like to push myself to try new challenges and thought that this expedition would be an excellent way for me to expand my horizons, experience a completely different culture, and put my best efforts into helping the local community. I think opportunities like this don’t come along very often and thanks to Business Impact this world challenge will become a reality
We first selected Business Impact because they were approved by SEMTA, the sector skills body for our industry, and we wanted to find a robust and recognised partner for training. Business Impact have always delivered an excellent service, and their concise training programmes suit our business very well. We set a minimum standard for BIT techniques and felt it was important that everyone in the business was qualified to the minimum standard. This is used as a real measure of the quality of our workforce and as a significant USP to our customers, who rely on our expertise and our long experience.
National Apprenticeship Week will be a celebration of all that has been achieved in recent years to develop high quality apprenticeships, and bringing the apprenticeship agenda to all parts of the business community. For many employers who traditionally don’t see the potential of apprenticeships, a week long programme of events like this will help identify opportunities, and best practice in the development of high quality young people through a robust and well developed scheme. This week also acknowledges many of the fantastic young people who are achieving real career development through their participation in apprenticeships.
We like to build a close working relationship with all our apprentices, and IPL were excellent in facilitating us with Emma. It is a great show of confidence that Val Fitzgibbon, who Office Manager at IPL, allowed us to work together so intensely to see her through her NVQ. The benefits to everyone when we deliver a great apprenticeship programme are obvious. IPL embraced the apprenticeship and supported Emma throughout, and as a result they have a great asset, who is extremely loyal and committed to the business and sees her long term future and progression with the company
Business Impact have offered an excellent challenge and opportunity for me to continue developing high quality apprenticeship programmes and bespoke training for organisations across the region. The way in which we work at Business Impact offers real incentives to candidates and employers, and we pride ourselves on delivering excellent results.
Business Impact have the drive and ambition required in the current economic climate to really make a difference to employers and young people across the country. The business offers a fantastic range of opportunities and delivers unique training programmes, and a completely free recruitment service for apprenticeship schemes. It is great to be flying the flag in the region, and with a territory stretching from Nottingham and Stoke to Northampton and Gloucester, I have a huge opportunity to impact on the business community with the outstanding service and solutions from Business Impact.
Working with Business Impact has been really straight forward. They are proactive and professional and we have genuinely benefitted through their support. Finding the right young people for a company like ours could be quite a challenge, but the strength and quality of the candidates they provided has been recognised by our increased intake and the speed at which our apprenticeship programme has taken off.
When we were first invited to support James Burrell, it was obvious there was real scope to build a great programme. James Burrell have a great team and we knew they only wanted to see select candidates who would fit into the ethos of the company. We worked hard to find high quality candidates for the position, and the results are obvious, as the programme has expanded rapidly. The day to day management of the apprentices through the in-house Logistics Manager, combined with the development on a structured Intermediate Apprenticeship means they are all setting out on a real career path, with great long term prospects.
