C-RAD AB: Two new orders to the Chinese market

Two new orders of the C-RAD Sentinel system to the Chinese market.

C-RAD AB with its three fully owned subsidiaries in Sweden and three
international sales companies are all active in the field of radiation therapy.
 Two additional Sentinel systems have been ordered by Elekta in China. China is
the fastest growing market in radiation therapy. 

The C-RAD Sentinel system is an advanced easy- to- use laser scanner system
that monitors the motions of the patient during the treatment. The Sentinel
system delivered to Axesse users will also include functionality for patient
positioning and interfaces for import and synchronization of patient data.
Correction data in six degrees of freedom will be transferred to the Elekta
couch called Hexapod evo. 

The Sentinel systems will be delivered to Elekta in China to be integrated in
its Axesse systems. Axesse is a dedicated system for so called stereotactic
treatments. After approval of the system in China, Elekta in China will include
Sentinel as a standard product.

"We are happy to receive two new orders of the C-RAD Sentinel system. Since the
cooperation end of last year started Elekta China has placed orders of totally
four systems. After SFDA approval of the Sentinel system mid 2013 Sentinel will
on regular basis be offered together with Elekta Axesse system for advanced
stereo tactic treatments. 

C-RAD was already in 2009 selected as prefered supplier to Elekta of optical
surface scanning systems.”
