SACRAMENTO, CA [July 30, 2015]--The California Association of Boutique and Breakfast Inns (CABBI) has helped discerning travelers find one-of-kind accommodations throughout the Golden State for nearly 25 years. This summer, CABBI is launching a new travel blog to provide inspiration and in-depth reviews of California bed and breakfast inns and boutique hotels.

“We want to connect travelers with smaller or lesser-known hotels and inns that offer exceptional quality and service in distinctive settings,” says Jenn Wheaton, Program Manager for CABBI. “These are places that can often be a little more difficult to find online.”

Through first-person essays, compelling photography and interviews with locals, the CABBI travel blog aspires to uncover hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path destinations in every corner of California. Starting in Mendocino County, the debut blog posts include a lonesome but handsomely-restored hotel on the northern-most stretch of Highway One, an innkeeper raising chickens and helping to redefine Fort Bragg, and an exceptional dinner buffet at one inn that will have guests cancelling their dinner reservations anywhere else.

Future destinations planned for late 2015 and 2016 include the mountains and deserts of Southern California, the California Central Coast, and the Sierra Foothills. The blog is posted at: http://cabbi-travel-blog.blogspot.com.
