New leadership for Catella’s Property Investment Management business area
Timo Nurminen has been appointed to head Catella’s new business area, Property Investment Management, together with Andreas Kneip and Francois Brisset. Timo most recently held the position as acting head of Catella’s banking business and has held senior positions at Catella for more than 15 years.
A new operational structure has been gradually implemented during the spring of 2015. Property Investment Management is one of four newly-formed business areas and Timo Nurminen has been appointed to head the business area together with Andreas Kneip and Francois Brisset. Timo will lead this new management group. Andreas Kneip is the founder of Catella’s German property fund operations and Francois Brisset is the co-founder of the French asset management business within the property sector.

Timo Nurminen’s most recent position was as acting head of Catella’s banking operations. A new head of the banking operations has been recruited and Timo will formally leave his position as CEO of Catella Bank S.A. (Luxembourg) on 1 September 2015. Timo has held senior positions within Catella for more than 15 years, among other things as head of Finnish asset management within the property sector.
In 2007, Andreas Kneip founded Catella’s property fund operations in Germany, which under Andreas’ leadership have grown organically and currently have assets under management valued at EUR 2.3 billion. Francois Brisset established Catella’s French asset management within the property sector in the first quarter of 2014. Francois is a prominent profile within investment and asset management in France and was the co-founder of DTZ Asset Management (now DTZ Investors) and held the position as managing director for 15 years.
The Property Investment Management business area has assets under management of approximately EUR 3.1 billion and operations in Germany, Finland, France, Denmark and the Baltics.
